Queen Elizabeth invited Al Gore to Buckingham Palace.
Al Gore asked the Queen about the politics instead of horse racing because she knows the names of the horses better than her loyal Ministers.
He asked to Her Majesty, “Whats the secret behind the success of all your long and intelligent rule in England? ”

Sonia Gandhi made a mistake of reprimanding an aide who wrote speeches on which her reputation was largely based.
At the next speech, after the introductory witticisms in the first two pages, she turned to page three and read loudly :
“Now, Madam, you’re on your own.”
